Cubbies!

Hey everyone. As a lot of you are hopefully well aware by now, the Chicago Cubs are in the World Series for the first time in a very long time. I must admit I've never really been much of a sports fan, but I have been to a few Cubs games and had a lot of fun each time. I will never forget one of those games. But not because of the game itself, although it was a great one. I don't recall who the Cubs played, perhaps to the dismay of some of you lol. However, it was a trip to the concession stand during that one when the memorable moment for me came. I had ordered a heaping cup of hot chocolate, since it was mighty chilly out. But instead of half-and-half, I dumped a whole packet of coffee creamer into my drink! I am not a coffee drinker, and my beverage tasted a bit off but I downed the whole thing anyway. Everyone with whom I was sitting got a big kick out of it.





But back to the champions themselves. I actually met former Cub Ryan Dempster, and we even got his autograph. That was cool. I am so happy for the entire team and their staff!
