A Bit Late, but Today is Friday All Right
Sep. 6th, 2019 06:00 pmGreetings. I haven't forgotten about y'all, but just been busy mainly chatting with my neighbor across the hall like always. I did make it out to the Y again this morning with one of my tutors. I almost wasn't able to post one of these this week. Our wi-fi up here has been acting rather strange lately, and he and I've been using the wi-fi on the ground floor. But we thought it was time to give that up, and give that wi-fi back to whomever else needs it because they don't have other reliable wi-fi or whatever. But anyway, please see a prior entry of mine for the reason ours went totally out.
I've not got anything to highlight today, other than the entire Dreamwidth platform. There is a new mobile site for Dreamwidth which is apparently in the public beta stages. Believe it or not, I actually had a bit of time to test it out not long ago. I'm happy to report that it is very accessible using the 2 screen readers on my Mac. I briefly tested it out on my iPhone, and it's very good but there is no log-out button. At least this was the case last I checked. Perhaps that has since been rectified though. I'm gonna try and find some more time to test things out.
In other news...My next-door neighbors bought a house and are moving out. I'm getting a new neighbor, who is actually not that new to me because he tutored me for awhile here. Anyway, we're throwing the neighbors a going-away party next week. Hush, don't tell them! Lol they aren't even on here so don't worry about it. I am going to miss my daily interactions with them, but they won't be going that far and we will still keep in contact with them. Apartment life is hard with 3 little kids, or so I've been told. It'll be good to have one of my former tutors living here in the building though with his children. Think that's going to have to do it for this time. Be back soon. Gotta go nuke some supper.
