Five Fridays in May!
May. 1st, 2020 10:52 amHi everyone. Yes indeed, the title is absolutely correct. But you probably knew that already. Anywho....I hope this finds everybody keeping safe and healthy. I have certainly continued to do that. I finally did get my medication refills. They were actually delivered to my apartment earlier this week, since that's the address which UPS has on file for me. But I of course wasn't and am still not there due to COVID-19. So my mom and I had to drive to one of the pick-up locations and fetch them. But sure enough, the order was correct and I'm good to go again. The trek out there and back wasn't that bad at all, and the people assisting us were wonderful. In addition, I had a brief look at the UPS website and in terms of accessibility at least where this user is concerned it looks good. I haven't tried out their iOS app yet, and don't know at this point if there even is one. I honestly had better luck on my iPhone with their site, but I will look at it more at a later time since my mom ended up signing me up.
My nephew's birthday party was a lot of fun too, and I'm glad I went. Pizza and s'mores were the order of the evening, and everything tasted great.
I'm unsure at this point if there's an updated iOS comm here on the mighty Dreamwidth, so I'm highlighting![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
macapps again. Just yesterday I was perusing and listening to something on AppleVis like usual, and discovered a very extensive iOS guidebook that had been posted to the site earlier in the week. I briefly skimmed it over and it's perhaps the best one I've seen to date. Others I've read contain great information, but I think this one deserves particular mention because of its length and great content. Undoubtedly there's stuff in it which I haven't learned yet. I think this is one of those specifically geared towards screen reader users and screen magnification users, but others might find it useful as well. Thank you to Mr. Michael Feir of Canada for this. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I'll just point everyone to the AppleVis link on here.
