Happy Friday Again!
Oct. 23rd, 2020 07:24 amHi folks. The title says it all. I hope everybody's doing well and staying out of trouble. I'm certainly trying to do that though I suppose one never knows what could happen, lol.
I'm featuring
talkpolitics again. A neighbor and I watched last night's presidential debate over at his apartment. As always, Biden did a good job making the case for why he and Kamala Harris should be next in line to lead this country. I'll say nothing about the incumbent. I think my previous entries speak volumes about him. But I'm glad my neighbor and I watched. I think last night made me realize just how helpful television can be. This coming from someone who has admittedly watched more and more of it over the years.
But I did manage to do other things this week. For instance, I did my grocery run yesterday with my tutor and we of course had our masks on. Speaking of masks, my mother dropped off a few more for me last week. Unfortunately, it seems that Illinois is seeing its second wave of COVID-19 cases. The good news here--if you can think of it that way--is that some of us are prepared this time since we already went through it. It doesn't look like everything will be totally shut down. I might actually be able to stay at my apartment throughout the duration of the second wave, or at least most of it. I think that would really benefit at least one neighbor.
With that I think I'll close. Take care, be well, and stay productive!
