Happy Second Friday of the Year!
Jan. 8th, 2021 06:40 amHi everybody and welcome once again to the end of the week. Hope you're doing well. Good, me too. I'm just about to hop in the shower, so this entry shall continue after a technical break. Please stand by, and wait patiently during the silence!
I've had another (relatively) good week here at the pad, which of course included all the latest political horror news. Whether you are a Republican, a Democrat or somewhere in between, what happened at our nation's Capitol on Wednesday was nothing short of disgraceful. I have yet to hear or read any news today, but this alien being called Donald Trump just needs to be gotten rid of somehow. Nope, he is not a decent person as some think. In fact, he is exactly as I mentioned, an alien being. Not a good one either and I for one am so-o looking forward to 20 January when Joe and Kamala will take over the reigns. I'm not even looking forward to Mike Pence taking over. Well I guess in a way I am, if that's what needs to happen in order for a "peaceful" transition to occur. But one thing I know for certain: what happened on Wednesday was anything but a "peaceful transition."
With that out of the way...the rest of my week has been good as usual. I'm looking forward to my birthday in a couple weeks. A list has been started but not quite finished. I hope to finish it today or tomorrow. I've been debating on some items, but now think I've made up my mind.
I think that's all for this week. As always please stay safe. That means no trips to Washington, DC if you can help it. Those of you living in the area, please be safe and keep off the White House grounds and the Capitol Grounds!
