February Vortex?
Feb. 5th, 2021 06:24 amYes indeed folks, it appears that another polar vortex has made its way to my neck of the woods. I hope the building heat holds out this time 'round though. I think it will because the landlords have been making some much-needed updates to the building. So we should be good to go this time.
Anyhows, how're y'all doin'? Good, I'm fine too. Last weekend's fam birthday celebration went well, and I got everything on my list plus double on one of the items. But that's just as well given the weather we're having. I ended up spending the better part of the weekend at the 'rents' place due to the snowstorm, and then I had a dentist appointment. I ended up seeing the new dentist. I'm happy to report that he is very good and friendly, both qualities seen in my previous dentists. The previous one here in the Land of Lincoln is staying on to help out with the transition, after which time he will officially retire. This is what I was told. I only saw the new dentist though this time 'round.
I have had yet another good week here at the 'pad. Two downstairs neighbors are once again hosting a Super Bowl party this weekend, and I've been invited. My neighbor across the hall is going to surprise us with something cooked, which undoubtedly will be a big hit. He hasn't made anything for the entire building in a while, so I'm looking forward to it. My tutor is also scheduled to attend the party. In addition, I'm looking forward to half time. I don't know The Weeknd that well yet because it hasn't happened, lol! But seriously, I think I only know one of his songs.!
