A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That...

I hope all is well with everyone. This is another quick one, as I am kinda busy again this week. A good busy though so no worries. I have had yet another good and productive week, and did I mention busy?





For one thing, I started another online course. But this one is via EdX, which I'm finding very accessible with my screen reader. It is through the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, which I heard about from a neighbor/friend. Thus far I'm enjoying the course, and I think I will gain a lot of insight by taking it. I'm auditing the course, which in a way is unfortunate since I won't receive a certificate of completion. But that's fine by me. The course is entitled "Bridging Differences", and is interactive. I figure now's the perfect time to take this course, because of all the political goings-on here. Said neighbor agrees with me.





Illinois seems to be in the midst of another caregiver crisis. Whether or not this will directly impact me is not known at this time, but I'm keeping tabs on the situation thanks to the new exec director of Center for Independent Futures who sent out an email earlier this week.
