Addendum to Friday

Hello all. I've got some time to kill before closing up shop for the night, or at least it appears this way. So with that in mind, I thought I'd do just as the title says and post an addendum.





I got a new neighbor last week. This person is not that new to CIF, but new to the building in which I live. My understanding is that at least one more person is going to move in, but first comes the ever-present construction work. I expect to know more as time goes by.





Speaking of this building, I got a new toilet lid and seat just yesterday. My previous lid and seat had been a bit loose for a little while, but I thought I could deal with it since I've dealt with that sort of thing elsewhere with absolutely no difficulty. Well, unfortunately my toilet had other plans early Friday morning when I used it. The landlord and his crew were busy, so my personal assistant and I took matters into our own hands yesterday and got a replacement at a nearby hardware store. We then came back and he did the heavy lifting. So all is well once again.
