Look Who's Back!
May. 12th, 2023 08:50 pmWell at least for right now. I have been preoccupied with other things as of late, but figured I'd drop in and say hello. I hope you're all behaving yourselves. Good, me too.
I had originally planned on coming to you this morning from my eReader, but that was just not to be. I was able to get blue-tooth and WIFI up and running on there, but I'm having a bit of difficulty discerning which cable goes where. Yes indeed, this thing can either be used as a stand-alone device or alongside a computer. It is a very nice unit and seems to work as advertised, but I'm having to do a bit more re-acquainting than originally scheduled. It'll all work out eventually though, and this I know. But I'd like to thank the NLS, Humanware, Zoomax, and National Braille Press for teaming up to provide patrons with these things free of charge. And speaking of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, those who qualify but are not yet registered are most certainly missing out. I for one have been a member since the mid-80s and am eternally grateful for all that they've done. So what are ya waitin' for? Head on over to their website in my profile and get registered! It's free and totally worth it!
Well, I think that'll have to do it for this week. My first colonoscopy is next week, so stay tuned for the results which will be posted right here.
