Band or Orchestra?

For me, it's both. I took private cello lessons, and was in the orchestra throughout school. I like the sound of the cello, and I enjoyed playing with everyone. The music and accompanying notes were always recorded on cassette, so that I could listen to it and practice at home. I took a music theory class in high school, but the teacher was a right old asshole. He was always crabby with the students, and I don't think the other faculty and staff cared much for him either. But I learned a few years ago that he passed away shortly after he retired, so that is unfortunate.
