A Bit Late, but Still Friday
Apr. 3rd, 2020 07:55 pmHi all. I'm still alive and kickin'. I have not yet caught COVID-19, and hopefully that will be the case throughout this pandemic. I haven't had an opportunity to post this until now, due to not having access to a compatible charger until suppertime. I'm still at my parents' place though and am keeping safe.
But anyway...I wanted to highlight
book_love once again, because I've been doing some more quality reading. I am continuing to read my library books, but there's one other book I just started which I want to highlight. National Braille Press in Boston has available 3 books for free throughout the month of April. One of these books is entitled "Getting Visual Assistance with an iPhone: Now You Can Just Be Friends with Your Friends". I found out about these books in a tech-related newsletter. This book as well as the other 2 couldn't have come at a better time, because of the stay-at-home orders and because I'm still learning my iPhone. I think I can honestly say I'm addicted now. I fully recognize that everyone has their own likes and dislikes regarding technology, as is the case with anything these days. But as a long-time screen reader user and all-around tech enthusiast, I have to once again commend Apple for their awesomeness. We Apple customers apparently have a lot to look forward to and I for one am excited about that.
