Hi all. Nope, this is nowhere near a phishing entry or any such thing. As a matter of fact, this entry is to remind all readers to please be careful and do not fall for them. I've received many of these, and I know I'm not alone. I was driven to write this entry after receiving an email from my church containing the article linked below. I've yet to meet the new rector there. But anyway, please do take appropriate action immediately upon receiving a phishing email or other scam! https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/how-recognize-and-avoid-phishing-scams . This PSA was brought to you by me, my church, Dreamwidth, and the Federal Trade Commission.
