TWICE IS Nice!
Jul. 23rd, 2021 06:17 amHi everyone. I said I'd be back with another entry this week, and here I am. I hope the week has been good to everyone. It's certainly been good to me.
I helped interview 3 potential exec director candidates. Speaking only for myself here, I'd have to say that the interviews went well. I don't have bios for them, but perhaps those will come at a later time. But what I do know is that 2 of the candidates are from other states. One works at a college. They all were very pleasant to interview. So I guess I and others will eventually be told next steps.
I graduated yesterday from bootcamp. That's right, the workforce-readiness class that I took is over and yesterday was our graduation party. The instructor actually played a copy of "Pomp and Circumstance" which was nice. A job is yet to come for me, but I think this class made me think more positively about getting back to work in some form or another. I'm keeping the weekly notes that the instructor sent us for future reference.
Well...I think that'll have to do it for this week. Take care, be safe, and be kind. If you're not yet vaccinated, what the heck are you waiting for? This entire country--and the world--will be a better place. Please just put politics aside if you are a science denier.
