Out with The Old, In With The New

Hello everybody and welcome once again to the end of the week. Yes, the weekend is just around the corner and may even be here when you read this. No particular comm once again to feature this week, but the title just about sums it up. I'm coming to you from my apartment as is most often the case, but with some minor changes. Just a couple of days ago I acquired a refurbished set of shelves, courtesy of my father. I was looking to get rid of one of my desks, and replace it with something. I'm getting more new furniture soon, but I like the shelves.
My little princess is now residing in my bedroom, and I think she likes it in there a bit better but only time will tell. I spent the entire night snuggled in bed under the covers by her roaring fireplace, and it was lovely. I had a short-sleeve shirt, underpants, and socks on because apparently the building heat is malfunctioning yet again. Unfortunately, very little has been done about that over the years and I'm honestly not a happy camper about it. I know I'm not alone there either, as some neighbors have complained about it as well. And just in case anybody's wondering, yes I and others have reported this repeatedly. Fortunately it hasn't gotten too cold for good yet this year, but a freeze warning is currently active for my area. It is set to expire in a few hours. So we definitely need better temperature control. But on with the show.
This new apartment configuration seems to be helping out a bit with the wi-fi up here, but again only time will tell whether or not this holds true in future. I think my little princess had the right idea when she moved into the bedroom. I have yet to ask her, but I can kinda tell by her mood that she's happier.
Yesterday my tutor and I went grocery shopping again, and we both had on our masks. Then my neighbor across the hall had me over to watch last night's town hall meeting featuring the man who will *hopefully* become the next US President. I'm speaking of none other than Joe Biden. I'm only speaking for myself here, but I thought he did a fabulous job last night and he stayed afterwards to answer questions. I don't know about others, but that alone indicates to me that he will be a great top dog for the country. He was a great Vice President too. We need more caring people in the world, and this man fits the bill perfectly in my books.
That is all I've got for today. As always, take good care of yourselves and others and please be safe.
