Happy July!
Jul. 2nd, 2021 06:47 amHello everybody. I hope this finds you well. I'm doing well too. It seems that the week has once again flown by, and the weekend is just around the bend.
For me it's a bit of a long weekend. I don't have class on Fridays, and the instructor is giving us Monday off too because of the holiday! Though I am enjoying the class, I'm thankful for the days off. I like the instructor and the material being presented, but like I mentioned in a previous entry the goal-tracking portal is rather inaccessible for me even with accommodations. I've reported this, and am going to do that again but it's an involved process which primarily for budgetary reasons is not that straightforward. But rest assured we're doing the best we can.
In other news...my tutor and I had breakfast at a former neighbor's new apartment. The 3 of us made a McDonalds run and then brought it back to said neighbor's new apartment and had a nice leisurely breakfast. Anybody who has ever been to McDonalds--and I suspect that's all of us--knows just how incredibly good their stuff tastes but I've come to realize over the years just how unhealthy it is. But ah well. The customer service provided to us that morning was quite good. It was nice to hang out with a former neighbor again, and get a brief tour of the new digs. His roommate--also a former neighbor of mine--was working that day but I texted him that evening. He responded without delay and was happy to hear from me again.
Well folks...I think that'll do it for today. As always please be good and stay safe, and happy Fourth of July to those who celebrate it.
