Short Entry, Long Weekend?

jazzyjjHi everyone and welcome back to Friday. I know it's a long weekend for some of you. For me I guess the weekend happens every single day, lol. But that may just be besides the point. I've had yet another good week, and hopefully y'all did as well.
A downstairs neighbor recently purchased a kiddy pool for our backyard, and she and I sat out there to soak our feet in it. It felt awesome on a 91-degree day, but it might not be safe as I recently found out from another neighbor. Btw, that's 91 degrees Fahrenheit and not 91 degrees Celsius. The pool is apparently located near a telephone wire. Anybody who knows a thing or three about science--and cares about it--knows that a safety issue arises when one is out in the pool and struck by lightning or some other variant of electricity. I'm not sure at this point whether this downstairs neighbor has been made aware of the hazard, but hopefully the situation will be fixed in no time.
Finally, I'd like to wish all a most happy and safe Fourth of July/Canada Day or whatever is your thing. I'll of course be back next week with more.
