Aug. 5th, 2022 06:23 amHi everyone. I'm once again posting this a bit early, due to a somewhat busy schedule. But I'm still alive and well, so onward we go.
This week has been good as usual. I finished my last course from RCI, which was "Becoming a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher". I honestly don't know where exactly I want to go with that, but now I'm more convinced that there's something in it for me. As previously mentioned the instructors did a very nice job laying out the case for this kind of thing, and I also had help from a neighbor. What concerns me isn't so much perception, because I believe some people I know personally, meditate now and again. But I think it's simply the fact that nothing has ever happened to me that really calls for meditation. I mean, I take my time at snacks and meals even when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere and/or do something. I am and have always been mindful of the fact that due to circumstances beyond my control, I need to do things differently at times. I'm not in the least bit bothered by that. But I guess we all could use some mindfulness meditation in our lives, and I'm all for that.
I acquired a rug last week from my next-door neighbors who just moved out. Their replacement is scheduled to move into the building in about a week, and things are shaping up pretty nicely for that. This person taught a class which I took last summer, and I got a lot out of it.
Well I think that'll have to do it for the week, I'll of course be back with more trouble next week. Be safe and be good.
