Happy 2023!

jazzyjjEntry title says it all. I hope everybody who celebrates it, had a happy and safe New Year's. I certainly did, and just a bit ago I made myself some peppermint hot chocolate that was given to me by a family member. Very nice! Those of you wanting some of it can just feel free to come right on over and I'll give you some, lol. There's my address. Seriously though, this is definitely a warm treat on a cold winter's day.
Other than that, the first week of 2023 has been good for me. I'm getting used to the new apartment, and really like it. Yesterday my father brought over some more amenities, including the afore-mentioned cocoa. I don't have the thermostat issue worked out yet, but as previously mentioned that will undoubtedly take some time and attention. I am still working out downstairs, and it's going well.
Well, I think that's it for me today. Much of my attention this morning has been devoted to the hot chocolate, but I'll of course speak my peace again next week. Until then, you know what to do and what not to do!
