jazzyjjHi everybody and welcome back to Friday. I hope y'all are stayin' out of trouble. I'm here as always and have had another good and rather eventful week.
Some neighbors and I were exposed to COVID-19. After publication of last week's entry, we got a phone call and email follow-up indicating that one of the neighbors had tested positive, after being on a cruise. I and my building mates attended our weekly meeting, and that's where we got exposed. And yes, this included the new tenant above me. She probably doesn't have a very good impression of us now, lol. So we ended up having to self-quarantine for a few days and then get tested. The good news is that said neighbor who tested positive is doing much better. The other good news is that the rest of us tested negative. But I will say that it was rather touch-and-go there for a short time. I for one am going to continue masking up when out and about, just as I have done throughout the pandemic. Ditto for everyone else in the building.
Other than that, the week has been good as usual. I'm still liking the new pad, and my parents got me a pack of non-slip strips for my bathtub shower. I'm talking about those sandpaper-like things which are designed to prevent falls in the shower. Well...My personal assistant put them in and they're doing exactly as advertised. In addition, I asked the landlord about installing some ceiling fans and he said that'll be done once it warms up as he and his crew have other projects going that need to be attended to. I suggested to him talking with my parents about purchasing them rather then incurring one more expense.
