jazzyjjHey everyone and welcome to yet another edition with yours truly. I hope all is well. I have to start this entry with an announcement. I think this announcement only applies to those of you Dreamwidth users following me. The rest of you can just follow along as you see fit. Due to an influx of spam comments in a comm which I co-moderate, I just now deemed it necessary to turn off some of my tracking options. Luckily these spam comments are being screened as they come in, so they're not visible to the entire universe, but still it rather irks me that someone would do this in the first place. I guess some people just have too much free time on their hands. I suppose I do as well, but that's a topic for a different time and place. But anyway, if I take a while to reply to stuff, you know why. Please don't take it personally.
The upside to this is that I have gotten to hear some foreign-language text and/or symbols being read aloud by my screen reader, with the proper accent. So I must admit that while this is rather unfortunate, I do appreciate all the work Apple and others have done to bring these advanced features to life.
Not much else of note has happened this week. I have an appointment to remove some waxy build-up from my ears. The appointment is later today, Friday. So with that I think I'll close. As always take care and stay safe out there.
