Hi everyone and welcome to an entry which will be part random updates, and part therapy session. Nope I'm not in that kind of therapy myself, nor have I ever needed it. But I will explain the situation in a bit. But anyways...I hope you're doing well.
The week has once again been good, and I'm headed out of town again tomorrow just for the day. My nephew will officially be a teenager starting on Monday. I remember my teen-age years. They were a lot of fun. As a matter of fact, I have to say that my high-school days were some of the best of my life.
Speaking of high school, I have been practicing a bit with the Braille eReader which was just recently sent to me. With the exception of a Braille device which I used in another state and which is no longer manufactured, I haven't used a Braille display since high school and perhaps a short while after that. This hasn't gotten me very far, but that will undoubtedly change very soon and I will be able to start reading and writing on this Braille device.
And now for the therapy session I promised everybody at the beginning of the entry. Actually this is of course not a real therapy session, as I don't possess all the necessary credentials to conduct such a session. But here goes anyway. A situation has arisen in my current living arrangement which in my humble opinion at least, raises some red flags. I cannot discuss this particular situation, but I'm seriously beginning to wonder why something as simple as talk therapy is so expensive? I realize there may be intricacies involved, as well as referrals to specialists. However, the question remains why is it so costly? In addition, how can somebody or a group of people say that every! single! thing! that the client/patient reveals is simply an illusion or delusion? On that note I think I'll close for the day. I'll of course be back next week with more.
