Second iPhone Tutoring Session
May. 11th, 2018 10:10 pmHi all. Well, I'm back to talk about this week's iPhone session at Second Sense. It went very well. I got some questions answered that I had, and was shown some more things on the iPhone. This thing is really growing on me. Marv and I tried to authorize the iPhone with my Apple ID but ran into a slight problem. I thought it would be smart to turn on Apple's two-factor authentication awhile back, so I did just that. I had Apple call me with the numeric code each time on my apartment phone, so I thought this would work for iPhone authorization. I thought surely there'd be somebody at Second Sense--including my mother--who could read the code to us. But that ended up not exactly working as planned, so I ended up having to complete the process back here with one of my life-skills tutors. But my session was productive, so I ain't complaining. Marv recommended a very good free app for me to download that is a tutorial of sorts. So I will download that hopefully this weekend. There are some other free apps which I am looking into.
Like I mentioned though, I'm enjoying the iPhone thus far and I commend Apple's accessibility team on their hard work. Based on what I've seen thus far, VoiceOver is very responsive. So no complaints on my end. If other users wish to complain, let them eat cake!
