Already September!
Sep. 3rd, 2021 07:10 amHi folks. That's right, the year is just about to draw to a close and 2022 will be upon us before we know it. Oh how time flies. I hope the week has been good to everyone. It's certainly been good to me. For one thing, the construction in my and my neighbor's apartments is nearing completion. We thought they'd be done already, but as with all or most construction there have been minor delays. I'm sure it'll all be well worth the wait though. The landlord tells us that the central AC will be similar to the system which went in on ground level a few years back. That one works very well, and is nice and quiet. So I think we're in for a real treat.
In other news of the week, Center for Independent Futures' 3rd executive director began work in the office a couple days ago. I only met him briefly but look forward to getting to know him better as time goes by. I honestly don't have a good enough grasp on the leadership side of things, but he seems like the right person for this job.
I think that'll do it for this week. Take care, mask up, and be fully vaccinated.
